Instagram-
  • Users might get inappropriate comments on photos which can lead to cyber-bullying or hate mail 
  • It is a free social media network that allows people to share their photos or important events through pictures
  • Pictures can be digitally altered with the filters provided by Instagram 
  • Instagram is an Apple app
  • It has a privacy setting which allows users to chose who/ who doesn't follow them, this setting only allows their followers to see their pictures 
  • When having a profile of the users face as well as their first and last name this can result to stalkers googling information about the user
Youtube-

  • Can be used as a means of education for teachers and students 
  • Advertising and marketing has recently become a big thing in the Youtube scene, it has enable small businesses to gain customers in a similar way big company's use television to advertise 
  • This social media platform has allowed singers and other young talent to be discovered: Justin Bieber, Troye Sivan is among some of them. 
  • Just like with any other social media network there is cyber-bullying people commenting rude and unnessacerry things on video post 
  • Sometimes Youtube content creators make controversial videos which makes the public create an argument over the theme of the video 
  • This platform has also allowed many members of LGBT to "come out" and be comfortable with their sexuality, many positive comments and support came as a result of this. 
Facebook- 

  • This is a place where people can interact with family/ friends from all over the world 
  • Users to keep in touch 
  • It is/ can also be used for school purpose as it allows students to discuss homework/ assignments
  • Unlike with Instagram the privacy settings on Facebook is very poor, as other users can still see photos of you and what you have been tagged in 
  • Facebook is very big on Freedom of expression although sometimes people's comments can be offensive 
  • The most talked about and important thing that every adult/ teachers are constantly reminding younger children is that what is posted on Facebook stays on Facebook, they might have posted regrettable photos or videos that might result in college/ uni teachers or professors finding them  thus jeopardising their chances on getting into a uni let alone a good well recognise university.

  • Companies can make thing viral

* Once posted user loose control of the content
