Production Re- Schedules

Since our group had to re-schedule too many times, we have decided to delete a whole scene and just go with what we have. We will be filming tomorrow ( Tuesday 10th November) as well as Saturday 14th of November and 17th Tuesday November.

*Instead of filming in the Morning of Tuesday 27th it will be moved to late afternoon or in the FTV lesson as some people were late getting to school early in the morning

FTV: Changes

Changes in Film Noir:

• No suicide ( because it pushes outside the PG form) 
• Boy is in college 
• Someone has been murdered by being pushed over a building 
• When Stuart runs away from the scene with the professor, Freddy chases Stuart gives up and goes back to the unconscious professor and drags him to the top of the building and pushes him off to make it seem like a hoax
• Planning to cut off "dog scene" as it doesn't mesh well together with the movie 
• make the metaphors in the nursery rhyme more clear. (example: Hey Diddle Diddle the cat and the fiddle- a shot of the policemen, detective, investigator) 
• The Dog is an important figure in the film 
• Short shots are the end 
• Hand cuffs on Freddy's hand
• In court 
• Hammer slamming down 
• Freddy behind bars 
• The Detective places his badge down on the desk 
• '' switches off the lights 
• '' sits at the bus stop waiting for the bus to come, the bus comes forward and drives off, the detective disappears 
• Freddy is a little bit psycho and subtle tells the detective/ father what he did/ committed 
• Instead of another recording tape, we would use a toy car as it would symbolise what is to come in next
• Steals back toy car

Hey Diddle Diddle

Hey Diddle Diddle, the cat and the fiddle

Characters

"Hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle" - detectives/policemen/investigators

"The cow jumped over the moon" - Someone jumps off a building

"The little dog laughed to see such fun" - the little dog is a child who pushes the person off the building but makes it look like a suicide: a distraction while the robbery takes place.

"and the dish ran away with the spoon" - someone robs something: bank/jewellers/bodies from a morgue

Plot

•   The murderer calls the police department and the hands of the murderer is seen playing a recording tape of "Hey diddle diddle" leaving it as a clue.

•   Policeman/detective gets call over walkie talkie saying someone has just commited suicide by jumping off a building. 

•   Policeman/detective goes down to check it out.

•   Alarm of another building nearby goes off but everyone is distracted by the "suicide." Finds recording tape and plays it "Hey diddle diddle..."

•   A few hours later the same policeman/detective gets another call over the walkie talkie saying that someone has just robbed the bank/jewellers/morgue.

•   Policeman/detective goes down to check out robbery. Finds recoding tape and plays it "hey diddle diddle..."

•   Policeman/detective goes back to office and finds another recording tape and plays it "hey diddle diddle..."

•   Policeman/detectives head snaps up to see the curtain of the window blowing and the shadow of someone jumping out the window (the policeman/detectives office is on the ground floor)

•   Policeman/detective goes home to wife cooking dinner and 19 year old son watching an intense murder tv show. Asks son why he is watching that show and he claims it's for a 'task' he has to do.

•   Wife says teacher called about freddy's behaviour

•   Wife, Husband/detective and Freddy go in to speak to freddy's teacher

•   voice over of teachers voice, over what freddy has been doing

•   Freddy manipulating other students. Stuart was an exuberant student, but a couple days after Freddy's arrival, Stuart has been acting really strange --> as though scared/nervous

•   Freddy and Stuart didn't get along at first but after a week or so Stuart was a slave for Freddy, he would do anything for him

•   Freddy handing Stuart crowbar, bat etc. telling him to hit harder and to finish him off

•   Stuart refuses to and says he can't. Stuart runs out of room and Freddy curses and says to professor "I'll get you, I will get you" and runs out of room after Stuart (end voice over)

•   Freddy gets into car and chases after Stuart who is on foot. Freddy hits Stuart with car.

•   In hospital, detective/Freddy's father asks Stuart who was driving what did he see? Stuart replies with "run, car, loud" Detective says "loud? what was loud? Stuart?" Stuart replies with "hey diddle"

•
